Luminal Pop

Tommy Toucan – The Ring

Shanghai, China · 2025

Commissioned by Hongkong Land for The Ring Live in Shanghai. Tommy Toucan rises 8 meters into the skyline — a recurring form from Low Orbit City translated into lasting architectural presence. The sculpture carries the language of play into structural permanence, where character becomes landmark.

Willy & Winky

Wynwood, Miami · 2025

Part of the George Pérez Collection at Highley House, Miami — a private cultural residence curated by one of the most influential arts patrons in the United States. Positioned in the courtyard and skybar lounge, Willy and Winky operate at architectural scale, embedding character-driven form directly into the structure of the building.

Boulevard City

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia · 2024

Six monumental fiberglass sculptures commissioned for Boulevard Riyadh City. Characters Ellie, Elio, Magmus, Fine Feather Friends, Iridessa, and Garden Sasquatch — the Anchorball universe brought to one of the kingdom's premier entertainment destinations.

Airside x Anchorball

Hong Kong · 2024

From March to May 2024, I collaborated with AIRSIDE Mall in Hong Kong to create a large-scale, multi-platform public art activation. The three-month installation transformed the newly built AIRSIDE Mall into a fully immersive, character-driven experience that blended art, retail, play, and interactive media. The centrepiece featured five large inflatable monsters that engaged the public across the entire complex.

Spiral Vortex

St. Regis Kanai, Cancun · 2023

Installed in 2023, Spiral Vortex is a 7.5-meter mirror-polished stainless steel sculpture commissioned for the St. Regis Maya Resort in Cancún, Mexico — a site where sea, sky, and vegetation converge in constant dialogue. The sculpture's mirrored skin transforms with the environment, capturing shifting clouds, tides of light, and the colour of passing hours.

Hand Drawn

IQHQ RADD, San Diego · 2023

Situated at IQHQ RaDD — the largest urban commercial waterfront site along California's Pacific coast, spanning more than ten acres and six blocks. This iconic life science district transforms downtown San Diego's waterfront with over 5 acres of green space, public art, and best-in-class amenities. Hand Drawn brings the Fin Flyers vocabulary to the heart of the precinct at 5 meters in blue stainless.

The Boundless Sea of Stars

Hangzhou, China · 2021–22

Installed in December 2022, The Boundless Sea of Stars — The Wave — represents the force of nature in the form of a wave, frozen in 6 meters of mirror-finish stainless steel. The sculpture's reflective surface absorbs and transforms the surrounding landscape, compressing natural force into a permanent still object.

OOLALA

2021–23

C Future Lab is an innovative platform by Centralcon dedicated to exploring city patterns and the relationship between city life and urban space for the future. OOLALA — 3 meters of stainless with painted blue mirror finish — is a form in mid-emergence, caught between arrival and departure. Its blue mirror surface shifts from sharp reflection to deep colour depending on angle and light.

Back in the Saddle

2022

My 6 meter sculpture 'Back in the Saddle Again' was created for Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas and installed in winter 2022 with the team from Legacy Landmarks. Wonder of the Seas is the largest cruise ship in the world. The work balances monumental mass against the sky-reflecting precision of mirror-finish stainless.

Velocity Variation

Jindi City Fenghua Art Museum, Mongolia · 2021

A variation on my Velocity sculpture, serving as a cornerstone piece on this award-winning project that combines luxury living with an art museum. At 10 meters in mirror-finish stainless, it is one of the largest works in the studio — a sweeping aerodynamic form engineered to read as velocity frozen in place.

Papillon

Al Khaliji Bank HQ, Doha · 2019

Installed in October 2019, Papillon is now part of the Al Khaliji Bank's permanent collection, located in the lobby of their new headquarters in Doha, Qatar. Fabricated in bronze with a darker patina, the sculpture has a golden glow in the light. Papillon is a sculpture about closeness in relationships, the idea that beauty can take a simple form.

Madrigal

Shuizhiyun City Culture Center, Kushan · 2020

Installed in January 2020, my 7 meter tall stainless steel sculpture, Madrigal, is now part of a new sculpture park in Shuizhiyun City. The sculpture joins several other large-scale pieces and is part of a public art initiative by the cultural advisory for the city. The form unfolds in a slow spiral — a counterpoint to velocity, exploring stillness as a kind of force.

Inner Child

Krasnodar Park, Russia · 2021

This set of 4 sculptures arranged in a circle represents, to me as an artist, the playful spirit of imagination and the curiosity of the child that is in each of us. Made in mirror-finish stainless, the viewer is asked to think about this state of being — imaginative, curious, and joyful. The sculptures operate at architectural scale in Krasnodar Park, Russia.

Private Estate, Shanghai · 2021

My sculpture Velocity installed for a private client in Shanghai. 3 meters of stainless steel, mirror finish. The Velocity form condenses speed and stillness into a single aerodynamic gesture — intimate scale, maximum precision.

Becoming

Private Estate · 2020–21

The inspiration for Becoming is the idea of one thing becoming something different or new through the process of transformation — like the way a seed bursts through the soil and becomes a plant. In existing between states, the work captures the moment of potential in transition. 6 meters, mist finish stainless, private estate.

Scribble

Private Estate, Doha · 2021

A 4 meter stainless steel sculpture in yellow finish for a private estate in Doha, Qatar. Where most Elemental works pursue mirror perfection, Scribble embraces the drawn line — a form that appears to have been made by a single, decisive mark in space. The yellow finish transforms the work's reading completely depending on light and angle.

Pivot

Dubai, UAE · 2021

A 3 meter stainless steel sculpture in mirror finish. Pivot will be part of an installation marking the UAE's 50th anniversary. A form in the act of turning — the instant before a new direction is committed to. Pivot distils a moment of decision into steel, the mirror surface doubling its presence.

The Anchorball Universe

Two Languages,
One World

Ken Kelleher works across two distinct but interconnected visual languages. Together they form a single sculptural universe — one that moves fluidly between public installation, collectible edition, and fine art.

View the Store →
Luminal Pop
Bold colour, exaggerated form, and emotionally expressive characters — Tommy Toucan, Ghost Mawse, Willy, Petal Power — from 30cm editions to 9 meter public sculptures.
Elemental
Raw natural forces expressed through steel, bronze, wood, and mass. Mirror-finish and mist-finish stainless works that compress velocity and momentum into permanent still objects.
Characters
An expanding constellation inhabiting evolving territories — Low Orbit City, Toytopia, Superforms. Each iteration builds continuity rather than repetition.
Fabrication
Welded armatures, engineered frameworks, high-gloss composite and hand-applied paint. Fabrication as part of the artistic language, never separate from it.
