PRIVATE COLLECTION — Internationally recognized sculptor Ken Kelleher, also known as Anchorball, has announced the completion, installation or presentation of Becoming, a major project from his expanding international practice.
A six-meter mist-finish stainless steel sculpture created for a private collection. The inspiration for Becoming is the idea of one thing becoming something new through transformation — the way a seed bursts through into growth — expressed through a soft, luminous surface at monumental scale.
Part of Kelleher's Elemental practice, the work exemplifies the conceptual depth and material ambition of the series, holding a sense of ongoing motion even while standing still.
