What scale of work does the studio take on?
Works from approximately 1 metre to 20+ metres. Most public commissions fall in the 3–12 metre range. Interior and hospitality works are typically 1–5 metres. There is no minimum scale — the studio takes on commissions at any size where the work serves its space and context. The initial conversation helps determine what's right for your project.
Do you work internationally?
Yes. The studio has permanent commissions installed in Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, China, Mexico, the United States, and aboard Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas. International logistics — shipping, customs, freight forwarding, and on-site installation supervision — are managed by the studio as part of every project. Geography is not a barrier.
How long does the process take?
Most commissions are completed within 3 to 12 months from signed agreement to installation. Timeline depends on scale, complexity, and site logistics, and is confirmed at the design proposal stage. The studio structures the process to meet client opening and completion dates wherever possible.
Can I commission a specific Anchorball character?
Yes. Ghost Mawse, Tommy Toucan, Willy, Petal Power, Cloud Walkers, and other characters from the Anchorball universe are available for commission at any scale. The studio can also develop an entirely new character for long-form partnerships — designed and built exclusively for a specific property, brand, or development, and never reproduced elsewhere. Custom character development is a separate conversation from a standard commission inquiry.
What materials are available?
Mirror-finish stainless steel, painted mild steel, weathering steel (Corten), fibreglass with high-gloss automotive-grade lacquer, bronze, and wood. Most large-scale outdoor works use welded steel armatures with engineered exterior surfaces. Interior works use lighter composite or fibreglass construction. Material selection is part of the design process — the studio recommends the right material for the scale, site, and environment.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
The studio responds to every inquiry within 48 hours. For straightforward projects, the next step is a short call to discuss your space and brief. For complex or large-scale commissions, the studio may request additional brief materials or site photographs before the call. From there, if there's a fit, the studio prepares a no-obligation concept proposal. There is no fee at any stage until a design agreement is signed.
